As the assistant director for facilities in Campus Recreation, Chelsea Scott assists in hiring, training, scheduling and supervising the facility staff’s student employees, which includes implementing student development programs. She assists with the reservations and operations of both the Strom Wellness and Fitness Center and Solomon Blatt Physical Education Center.
A Florida native, Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Science in Health, Leisure and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport Management from the University of West Florida and then earned a Masters of Education in Recreation and Leisure Services with an emphasis on Recreation Management from Texas State University. Her previous experience includes work as the graduate assistant of facility operations at Texas State University and as operations assistant with the Southern Professional Hockey League Association.
Chelsea is an alumnae of Alpha Chi Omega and has performed volunteer work for NIRSA, Habitat for Humanity, Favor House, National Girls and Women’s Sports Day, Big Brothers Big Sisters and YMCA.
