As the Fitness Coordinator, Chrissy manages the Group Exercise program that provides participants with meaningful, effective, safe, and enjoyable fitness classes. She is also responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and supervising the Group Exercise student instructors, providing guidance to enhance their leadership, fitness knowledge, and healthy lifestyle skills.
Chrissy earned a Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science with a Concentration in Health Promotion and Fitness Management from Rowan University in 2014. She holds a Master of Public Health with a Concentration in Health Education and Certificate in Advanced Worksite Health Promotion from Western Kentucky University.
Chrissy is passionate about health, fitness and all dimensions of wellness. Her certifications include CPR/AED First Aid Instructor, AFAA Primary Group Exercise Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Turbo Kick, Mad Dogg Spinning, Pink Gloves Boxing, PIYO, Matrix Coach by Color, Zumba, and AFAA Practical Pilates.
In her down time, Chrissy enjoys a work-life balance that includes Netflix and lots of reading. She loves the beach, spending time with family and friends, writing and painting, listening to music, and drinking coffee.
Chrissy is excited to be a Gamecock and work with USC students to develop a love of health and fitness.
