USC Websites You Can't Live Without

The University of South Carolina has a wealth of resources to help faculty navigate campus life. Here are 7 you will end up using regularly.

Blackboard is USC’s course information system. Your course will automatically have a Blackboard site.

Related to teaching, you will use Self Service Carolina to check class rolls, enrollment and enter final grades. Self Service Carolina also displays human resources and personnel information so you can check your own information 24/7.

The Faculty Manual presents information concerning university regulations and procedures considered to be of particular interest to faculty.

The online Academic Bulletins are the official documents of record concerning undergraduate and graduate academic programs and regulations. Become familiar with your department’s programs and with the courses you are assigned to teach.

Among other things, the Registrar’s website is a good source for academic calendars as you prepare your syllabus each term. There’s a calendar link in the toolbar.

Check out the Libraries and Collections website for your teaching, research and other resource needs.

SAM assists faculty in identifying and obtaining funding for research and other sponsored projects.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
