Distributed Learning

Delivery and Support

When your course production is nearly complete, it's time to look ahead to how your students can access their course materials.

One of the great constants of online learning at the University of South Carolina is that students will experience a first-rate university education even as a non-traditional online student. Generally, lectures will be available within 24 hours following the live class. Lectures are password protected to restrict access to only students currently enrolled in the course.

As online technology and online education progresses, our team will ensure that your students have new ways to enjoy fast and easy access to online instructional materials anywhere they choose to learn.

Content Hosting

Currently, the Office of Distributed Learning can post and host your content for you through our easy-to-access online portal. There students can access not only class content, but also helpful support and guidance should a technology or accessibility issue arise.

In the future, all online content is expected to transition to an academic media portal. Today, however, online content is still accessible through the portal.
