Join the Center for Digital Humanities as it holds its first Digital Brown Bag Lunch Talk with Professor Joe November.
The event will be held March 20th at 12:30pm in the Center for Digital Humanities, located in the Thomas Cooper Library.
Professor Joe November (USC History Dept.) will be talking about "Video Games and History." He will discuss how history is represented in video games, focusing particularly on the pedagogical and intellectual opportunities these games offer to the humanities. November will use his forthcoming book chapter, "Fallout and Yesterday's Impossible Tomorrow" as well as his experience this semester teaching an upper-level undergraduate history course entitled "Computer Games and History" as case studies.
Bring your lunch, Joe will bring the deep thoughts, and CDH will provide the coffee!
