Technology staff from Columbia and Beaufort campuses represent USC at New Media Consortium conference

The New Media Consortium, an international organization with the purpose of driving innovation in education, recently held its annual summer conference in Hilton Head, SC from June 4-7. Staff from the Columbia and Beaufort campuses attended to volunteer and participate in the conference.

Bill Hogue, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer from USC Columbia, gave a welcome address to attendees at the opening session of the conference. He was joined by Michele Branch-Frappier, Linda Mihalik and Andrew Grimball from USC Columbia, who served as volunteers to provide support throughout the conference. Mihalik and Grimball also presented during the Idea Lab poster session.

Eddie King, Lee Goodman and Corey Sanders from USC Beaufort provided local support and additional resources to help the conference succeed.
