Fraternity and Sorority Life

Faculty Advisors

Volunteer advisors are an essential link between students and faculty, providing advice, expertise and perspective on chapter issues.

Become an Advisor

Do you want to work with exceptional college students? Contact Kayleigh Campbell by emailing kdc1@mailbox.sc.edu.

Who is eligible?

  • Full-time faculty or staff members, including professors emeritus. Graduate students are not eligible.
  • Previous experience in a fraternity or sorority is helpful, but not required. You do not have to be the same gender or have been a part of a particular fraternity or sorority to serve as advisor.

What if I know which chapter I want to advise?

Many advisors want to be involved with their fraternity or sorority, or know a student whose organization they'd like to help.

If you know of a chapter you want to advise, you can register through the individual student organizations.
