Creating rewarding experiences for female undergraduate students as well as the professionals who take them under their wing. 

Women's Mentor Network

The Women’s Mentor Network builds alliances with campus and community groups to educate, empower and mentor female students at the University of South Carolina. USC believes in providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of gender. The network pairs faculty and staff with undergraduate women to build a community of support and engagement while fostering personal and professional growth. Along with mentoring, the network offers events and workshops.

Growth Mindset Workshop

A workshop in partnership with Healthy Campus Initiatives.

Growth mindset is knowing that there are multiple paths to success and that everything is an opportunity to learn. With the help of Healthy Campus Initiatives, come learn how to have a growth mindset within the framework of being a woman when you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious.

The Body Project Workshop

The Body Project is a conversation about body image and the influences of cultural and social interactions. This small group is a two-part workshop led by the Changing Carolina Peer Leaders that will encourage the spread of body positivity and allow women on campus to move toward self-confidence and self-fulfillment. 

Seen and Heard Artist Talkback

Momentum Series: Beauty Redefined Keynote

Women are more than bodies, and when we see more in ourselves and others, we can be more! Join us for a one-hour visual presentation that teaches ways to recognize and reject harmful messages about women's bodies and worth through the development of body image resilience. 

Guided Meditation

Join us for a guided meditation as we relax and step away from stress and expectations. Mindfulness and meditation have been shown to have many positive effects on both physical and mental processes and can be a treatment for anxiety, depression, panic attacks, chronic pain, eating disorders, sleep disturbances, and health concerns such as high blood pressure.

Outstanding Woman of the Year Ceremony
