The Rule of Law Collaborative (ROLC) is accepting applications for up to two Graduate Assistant positions for the 2017-2018 academic year. Each Graduate Assistant must be a full-time graduate student at either the doctoral or master’s level, and he or she will receive a stipend of $6,625 per semester and tuition abatement. Each Graduate Assistant will be expected to work a maximum of 20 hours per week, and he or she will be responsible for assisting with ROLC programs, events, and research, as well as website maintenance.
Applicants should demonstrate substantive knowledge of rule of law issues and possess relevant professional or academic experience. Applicants should also demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a team. Country- or region-specific expertise, including foreign language proficiency, is a plus but not required. Web development and graphic design experience are also a plus but not required.
ROLC interacts with various disciplines and academic units at the University of South Carolina, including but not limited to Anthropology, Education, Geography, History, Library and Information Science, Philosophy, Political Science, Public Health, Social Work, and Sociology.
