The Opportunity

The University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for a dynamic and visionary leader to be the next dean of the College of Information and Communications (CIC).

Created in 2002, the College of Information and Communications brought together the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and the School of Library and Information Science to advance research and teaching in the evolving information and communications landscape. The college offers undergraduate programs in advertising, broadcast journalism, information science, journalism, mass communication, public relations and visual communications. It also offers graduate programs in journalism and mass communication and library and information science as well as a joint degree in mass communication and law. 

The next meeting of the College of Information and Communications Dean Search Committee will be held Wednesday, March 1.
