Discover USC Needs Your Help

The Office of the Vice President for Research needs your help! We are seeking faculty, staff, postdocs and students to serve as reviewers/judges and volunteers at Discover USC on Friday, April 21. Help us make the inaugural Discover USC a smashing success by signing up to spend a Friday, or just a couple of hours, supporting Gamecock research, leadership, creativity and scholarship at the biggest showcase event of the year.

Need more incentive? Lunch is free for all volunteers and reviewers, and we’ll have free shuttle service running from campus to the event and back all day long!

Registration closes at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, April 3, so sign up today!

Be a reviewer

Sign up here

Faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students are eligible to serve as reviewers, or judges, for poster, oral and creative presentations. Being a reviewer puts you right in the action, talking with presenters, learning from their experiences and providing the feedback that will help them grow.

Be a volunteer

Sign up here

Any student, faculty or staff member can volunteer at Discover USC. Volunteer duties range from handing out stickers to helping presenters hang posters to helping attendees find out where they need to go. Plus, volunteering for as little as two hours can make a huge difference.

We’re also seeking campus organizations to host outreach tables at Discover USC. Hosting a free outreach table is a great way to network with the entire USC community.

Whatever role is right for you, please join us at Discover USC, and see what great things are happening in and out of the classroom throughout the USC system.
