Troubleshooting

Flash Player
The tutoring software requires you to have Adobe Flash on your computer. You should receive a message on your browser if you don't have Flash or if your Flash is outdated. We recommend you use a laptop or desktop computer.

Web Browsers
Try switching browsers if you are having an issue with a website. If you are using Google Chrome, try entering the tutoring room through Mozilla Firefox, for example. Other browsers include Internet Explorer (for PC) or Safari (for Mac).

Audio
If you are having trouble with your microphone, go into Preferences (Mac) or Control Panel (PC) and check your audio settings.

Chat Room Full
There is a limit to the amount of users that can occupy a chat room. If you get an error message while trying to enter one, wait a few minutes and then check back to see if another user has left.

What to Bring to Tutoring
Come prepared to work and be an active participant in the session. Bring questions from your assignments or lectures and an open mind. Challenging yourself to try new things can have great rewards, in and out of the classroom.
