How to Apply

Freshman Application

If you are currently a student in high school, or have graduated high school and never attended a post-secondary institution after graduating from high school, you should complete the freshman application. Make sure to have a copy of your high school transcript and information about your SAT or ACT scores available as you complete the freshman application.

Each of our institutions has its own requirements, so please visit the admissions page for your desired institution prior to submitting your application. 

Change of Campus Application

If you are currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student at a USC campus and wish to change to another degree-seeking campus program in the USC system, you must complete this application. You must be currently enrolled to complete this application.

Requirements and credit transfers may differ by campus and major, so please visit the admissions page for your desired destination institution prior to submitting your application. 

Transfer Application

If you currently attend or have attended a post-secondary institution other than an institution within the University of South Carolina system and would like to complete your undergraduate education at one of our institutions, please complete the transfer application. Previous college attendance is part of a student’s permanent record, so please be prepared to list all colleges attended.
