Enhancements to Gamecock Cable

University Technology Services is pleased to announce an upgrade to the Gamecock Cable television service. Following the upgrade, all channels will be broadcast in high definition (HD). The Gamecock Cable system serves students, faculty and staff of the Columbia campus. It is broadcast in all residence halls and in public areas across campus.

The system will be updated on Friday, August 12. There will be a brief disruption in service during the transition. Following the upgrade, all subscribers must reprogram their televisions. If you need assistance with this process, please call the UTS Service Desk at (803) 777-1800 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The system will be upgraded on the following staggered schedule:

7 to 8 a.m. -- Residence Halls, Greek Village, subscribing faculty and staff offices
12 to 1 p.m. – USC athletics
1 to 2 p.m. – National Advocacy Center and Inn at USC
