My USC Lancaster

Parent Orientation

As a parent, you have been through quite a few changes with your son or daughter. Now you and your family face college, which may be one of the biggest challenges yet. At USC Lancaster, we try to help you meet that challenge by providing Parent Orientation sessions that address questions you may have about admissions, financial aid, tuition, academic policies, and other issues facing you and your student.

2018 Parent Orientation Sessions

If your son or daughter will attend an Orientation session, we encourage you to attend the corresponding Parent Orientation:

  • June 19
  • July 10
  • July 24
  • August 7

General Information

Parent Orientation will be in the John R. "Pete" Arnold Special Events Room in the Bradley Arts and Science Building.  At 5:30 p.m., campus administrators will present information on various topics, including registration, tuition/fee payment, and financial aid.  These administrators will also be available to answer questions you have regarding your student's college experience.  After meeting with campus administrators, you will be offered an optional campus tour led by USC Lancaster Peer Advisors.  The Student Orientation fee covers the cost of Parent Orientation, so there is no additional fee to attend Parent Orientation.

We hope you will consider attending Parent Orientation.  Parent orientation is designed for parents and guardians. We ask that you please leave any siblings or other children with another caregiver. Registration for parent orientation is not required.
