NAS Week

Throughout the year USCL sponsors public events at the Native American Studies Center highlighting the traditions of South Carolina’s Native peoples, but every year around March or April USCL hosts Native American Studies Week.  Through the efforts of the NAS faculty and committee, USCL offers a series of events celebrating local Native American history, culture, art, music, and dance on campus and at the center.

NAS Week 2016

2016 Native American Studies Week [pdf] was a celebration of Native American food and culture. The week included performances, a festival, lectures and gallery talks, and student performances. We hope you'll join us for NAS Week 2017.

USC Lancaster’s Native American Studies Week events are free and open to the public. For more information, contact Brittany Taylor at taylorbd@mailbox.sc.edu.
