Background

As the Director of the Financial Aid Office, Bridget Blackwell manages the overall administration of the financial aid programs for the Regional Palmetto College Campuses. She oversees the development and consistent implementation of the federal, state and institutional policy and procedures.  She administers the planning and oversight of the reconciliation process for federal and state programs.

 She earned a Master of Education Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina Columbia.

 She has over 25 years of progressive financial aid experience at the University of South Carolina.

She joined USC Palmetto College Financial Aid in 2007.

 She is actively involved in the financial aid professional associations on the state, regional and national levels. She believes college affordability is essential to college access and has devoted over 25 years in assisting families with financial aid resources and building top notch financial aid administrators.
