    USC Salkehatchie softball and baseball players presented new athletic shoes provided by Innersole Foundation to students at Fairfax Elementary School. As part of the Innersole outreach, our softball and baseball players have been volunteering at Allendale Elementary School. They will volunteer at Fairfax Elementary and Allendale Elementary in the spring. Additionally, SGA has donated $325 to Innersole Foundation to help with the purchase of more shoes. Innersole Foundation was founded by Dawn Staley, head basketball coach of the University of South Carolina women's basketball program.

    Magellan Voyager

    John Risher has received the Magellan Voyager Award to present "On Some Inequality Problems" at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Diego, CA. This award provides up to $500 towards travel expenses for USC undergraduates to share their research at regional, national, and international meetings. Risher has previously been awarded Magellen and Mini-Magellen grants. He continues to work with Dr. Bryan Lai on this project.
