This "Jersey Girl" is so excited to be representing the wonderful University of South Carolina! I attended the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2007. I then went on to study School Counseling and received my Master's from the University of Saint Joseph in Hartford, CT. I am a book worm through and through and I never tire of re-reading all of the Harry Potter books. I also love walking with my dog, Doyle, going to the movies with friends, and playing video games.

When trying to conquer the college search process my advice is to keep an open mind. Even if you're pretty sure you know what you're looking for, something new and different in a college or course of study may inspire you!

Hometown: Linwood, NJ

I am a South Jersey native, but I left Linwood, NJ to attend the University of South Carolina in 2006. While at USC, I volunteered at the Visitor Center, served as president of a student service organization and studied abroad in China and Rome. I graduated from the Honors College in 2010 with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications. When I am not recruiting, I love traveling, cheering on the Gamecocks with other Philadelphia-area alumni and spending time with my friends and family at the beach.

Though many of my great USC experiences were in Columbia, some of my favorite memories are of my internship at an international newsroom in Rome. The challenge and excitement of working as journalist abroad deepened my passion for my studies and motivated me to explore new career paths.
