I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications. Some of my favorite memories as a student at USC include attending football games in Williams Brice Stadium, participating in intramural sports with friends, late night study sessions in Thomas Cooper Library and watching our baseball team in 2010 win their first national championship. I am very happy to return and work for my alma mater after graduating. I have a passion for the University and enjoy sharing it with prospective students.

In 2008, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal Communication from Meredith College. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Counseling from Liberty University. I enjoy being outside, traveling, and swimming. For the past three years I have had the opportunity to help students through their admissions process and support them as they transition from high school to college. This is my passion!

My advice to any student in the college search process would be to find the right fit. Ask yourself the following questions: "Will I fit in? Can I see myself making friends and becoming involved? Will this institution provide me with opportunities to help accomplish my personal goals?" Remember, it's all about what's best for you!

As the regional admissions associate for the Pee Dee/Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, as well as Fayetteville and Wilmington North Carolina, I am thrilled to, once again, be associated with the undergraduate admissions office at the University of South Carolina. From 1996 until 2005, I was an associate director on the Columbia campus. Now I work part-time in Florence. I enjoy working closely with the students in my area and in my native North Carolina.

I did my undergraduate work at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina and have a master's degree from Duke University. I have been in the college admissions profession since 1984 at a variety of different institutions in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Because of my work experience, I believe that I have a broad perspective that is valuable to prospective students, their parents, and high school counselors.

Throughout my association with USC, I have been proud of all that the university, its students and faculty have accomplished. The combination of our academic programs, world-class faculty, engaged students, and ideal location create an experience that is hard to beat. I look forward to sharing all that we have to offer with you!
