I graduated from the University of South Carolina in December of 2011 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While I was at USC, I participated in many activities like the "Mighty Sound of the Southeast" Carolina Marching Band, Sigma Alpha Iota -- Professional Music Fraternity for Women, and even helped to start the USC Percussion Society. I was also able to participate in two study abroad programs to Costa Rica and Argentina. When I am not cheering on the Gamecocks, I like to travel, practice yoga, read, and spend time with my family and cat Jax.
The best advice I would give someone entering college is to choose a place that will allow you to grow as an individual. Look at all the opportunities that are available to you and take advantage of them. USC is a great place to be and nothing could be finer than being a Carolina Gamecock! I am very excited to be working for my alma mater and help connect students with a positive college experience like I had!

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in History, Spanish, and Anthropology. During my undergraduate career, I worked for three years as a Resident Mentor for University Housing, earning “Resident Mentor of the Year for Capstone House” in both 2009 and 2010. In addition, I am a Capstone Scholars Fellow, graduate of the USC Emerging Leaders Program, and recreational scuba diver. My passion is helping students realize their higher education goals. I am most proud of the character of this institution as a whole and the exceptional academic environment that it fosters for our students.

I graduated from USC in May 2011 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. I also graduated from the Honors College. I enjoy exercising, and I spend a lot of time at the Strom Thurmond Wellness and Fitness Center. My favorite memory of USC as a whole is probably working for Orientation and Testing as an Orientation Leader in Summer 2012. I made connections with many interesting people, became very close to my staff, and I enjoyed being a part of the student's first impressions of USC.

Hey Y’all! My name is Caitlin Watts and I am an admissions counselor at USC. I am from Columbia, South Carolina and I am the sixth person in my family to attend the University of South Carolina; I guess you could say it’s in my blood! I graduated in August 2011 with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management. In my free time I love to watch the Gamecocks, Atlanta Braves, and spend time with my favorite pup Turner and my family and friends. My favorite thing about being a Carolina Gamecock is the sense of community and family that begins as soon as you step on campus and stays with you forever.
One of my favorite memories will always be when I was visiting St. Louis in 2010 during the College World Series. Whit Merrifield hit the game winning single and the only other Carolina fan in the place sped towards me and spun me around to celebrate. Gamecock Country is nationwide!
