I was born and raised in the great state of Virginia. I grew up in Williamsburg, but spent most weekends in Mathews County on the Chesapeake Bay. I attended James Madison University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I went on to study Higher Education at Old Dominion University. I enjoy playing fetch with my dog, following food blogs, experimenting with new recipes, and trying to live sustainably.
My advice for the college search process is to stay organized! Make a spreadsheet, set calendar reminders, and start early!
*Regional representatives attend high school visits and college fairs in their primary territories. If you are located in a secondary territory, your regional representative will be happy to answer your questions by phone or email. Please contact him/her as needed.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in American Sign Language Interpreting in 2009. I was an admissions counselor for UNC-G for one year and then moved to Fairfax, VA to be a regional representative for the University of South Carolina. Along with being a part-time interpreter, I enjoy ballet, sailing and running with my puppy, Bella. On weekends, I enjoy going to DC, volunteering with a local animal shelter and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks!
My advice for navigating the college search process is to go visit campus. Everyone has pretty pictures, but until you actually see campus, you do not know if it is going to be a good fit for you.
