Katie has received the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship and the Columbia Swim League Scholarship. She has also received several National Honor Society awards for the highest GPA in the areas of science and Spanish. Katie is active on both the varsity swimming and cross country teams. She is president of the Journalism club and is active in both the Key Club and the Spanish club.
