SPRING BREAK TRIPS MARCH 2002
There will be two spring break trips available for the students of USC this spring break. The students of the Alternative Break Corps are seeking two full time faculty and/or full time administrative staff to accompany them on these trips.
One trip is to Genesis II; Caton Village located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This trip will be working with drug and alcohol addicted women and their children in a recovery facility. The students are planning all sorts of activities from yoga to health education workshops. This trip will be lead by Bobbie and Charla Wofford. They will depart on Saturday, March 9th and return Saturday March 16th, 2002.
The second trip is Habitat for Humanity Trip to an affiliate located in Columbus, Georgia. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian organizaiton whose goal is to eliminate poverty housing. This trip will be working with a blitz build, which usually results in building an entire house in a week. This trip will be lead by Ed Jones and Matt Hodge. They will depart on Sunday March 10th and return on Friday March 15th, 2002.
