Opportunity Knocks Part-Time Job Fair

Virtual map feature: Employers can take part in our virtual part-time job locator map when registering for our traditional on-campus, part-time job fair. This feature utilizes an interactive map that visually showcases both on- and off-campus locations of part-time jobs in the Columbia metropolitan area. If preferred, Employers can select just the virtual map option and not participate in the traditional on-campus, part-time job fair. The map will be online via the USC Career Center website from August 18 - September 15, 2015.
To participate, select the virtual map option under the "Event Fees" section of your Opportunity Knocks Part-time Job Fair registration.
Job Fair Policies and Logistical Information
Tobacco Policy:Employers please be aware that beginning January 1, 2014, the University of South Carolina is tobacco free. Please review the University policy at http://www.sc.edu/policies/univ500.pdf for additional details about Tobacco Free USC.
There is no registration fee for employers whether you are located on or off-campus. Please limit to 1 recruiter per table. To be included in the Student Packet Employer Listing, register by August 11, 2015.
Each employer must provide a list on his/her table that clearly outlines the positions that are being advertised. On-campus employers must indicate which positions are work-study positions and which positions are non-work-study positions.
Exhibit Parameters: All exhibits must be limited to the size of the 6' x 2.5' table. No vehicles or animals are allowed at the fair. All items for your display must be able to fit onto or behind your table. This will ensure that all employers have adequate space and students can navigate the fair in an efficient manner. If you are bringing printed materials, please bring 10 copies of enlarged print.
Please note: If the amount of employers attending the job fair exceeds ballroom capacity, we may ask that you share a table. You will be notified prior to the event if this need arises.
Parking Options: Employers may drop off at the entrance of the Bull Street Garage. Each registered off-campus employer will be allowed one parking spot in the designed event block in Bull Street Garage. While the Career Center has reserved parking for our off-campus employers, we cannot guarantee that a spot will be available. We strongly suggest that you bring pocket change should you need to park in a metered spot on Bull Street (1 quarter = 20 minutes).
Cancellation Policy: To assist the Career Center in appropriately planning for space, materials and refreshments, we request that all cancellations must be provided in writing by email to email@example.com by August 4, 2015.

1) Click on the REGISTER FOR OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS link to set up a JobMate account or log into JobMate.
2) Select Job Fairs and Events to register for OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS.
3) In the Catergory box, select Job Fairs and search.
4) You will see the OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS Icon and a register link to the right.
5) Select the Register link and complete your registration information.
