A CRIME ALERT has been CANCELLED on the USC Division of Law Enforcement and Safety's website

Suspicious Fires (CANCELLED)

USC Police have made an arrest of the person responsible for igniting the suspicious fires and is currently being detained at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center pending further charges.

Areas Surrounding Campus

The USC Police Department is working with SLED, the Columbia Fire Department and area law enforcement agencies to investigate several suspicious fires surrounding the USC Columbia campus. The small fires have been ignited in area garbage receptacles and on the city streets.
