Weather Update: Activities on USC's Columbia campus may resume at 4 p.m. Friday (Feb. 14)

Columbia campus ACTIVITIES MAY RESUME at 4:00PM Friday, February 14. Check http://www.sc.edu/CarolinaAlert for more info.

Previously scheduled events and activities may resume on USC's Columbia campus at 4 p.m. Friday (Feb. 14). University offices will remain closed and all classes remain canceled for the rest of the day. The Five Points shuttle route will resume Friday night.

Normal operations will resume Saturday (Feb. 15).

Facilities and law enforcement personnel continue to remain onsite to clear pathways and mitigate hazards, but conditions may still be dangerous to both drive and walk. Please use caution when outside and obey all signs, caution tape, etc.

As always, please take reasonable steps to ensure your safety and the safety of your family and make decisions based on conditions at your location.

As the snow and ice melt, falling ice will continue to be a concern. If you choose to venture outside, be aware of your surroundings. Stay clear from the sides of the buildings as well as large tree limbs.
