Welcome to The Center for Child and Family Studies

We work to improve the well-being of children, adults, and families in South Carolina and the nation.

The Center for Child and Family Studies partners with public and private agencies to build, maintain, and restore families and communities. Our staff has a wide range of expertise, from social work to multimedia. Many publications from our joint programs and projects are available to the public.

Our staff is involved in a variety of programs in Child Welfare, Hispanic Initiatives, and Victim Assistance. Some of our programs provide direct services to the community. Others are designed to strengthen the infrastructure of the human services professions.
