DSS Course Offerings

Online Registration
Online registration is available for all DSS trainings. On-line registration allows DSS workers to register for trainings directly from their computer terminals. Pre-registered participants will have a personal and confidential training profile, which they can access 24-hours per day. Workers registering on-line will receive immediate confirmation and can access all other pertinent training information. Since classes fill quickly, online registration will more readily assure that DSS workers can attend the selected classes on the preferred dates.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded for all workshops. Social Work relicensure credit is available for many events.

Courses listed on this site are available to DSS staff at no charge through a contract with The Center for Child and Family Studies, College of Social Work, University of South Carolina. Basic, intermediate, and advanced courses are available. Course descriptions include any prerequisites, such as certification, attendance of particular courses, experience, and the target audience.
