The Research, Planning, and Evaluation Division specializes in capacity building. When organizations contract with The Center for evaluation services, we see our role as enabling them to become increasingly self-evaluative.

Each stage of a project involves ongoing interpersonal consultation. Staff members submit reports, make presentations, and facilitate group discussions. We also design data collection procedures. This allows agencies to continue evaluation beyond a given funding period.

The Center can work with its partners at any stage of a program to create and implement a well-designed, evidence-based evaluation.

In addition to performing evaluations, The Center conducts research projects designed to address social issues facing children, teens, adults, and families. Results of these studies are disseminated nationally through journals, presentations, and conferences.
