Rechelle Paranal is a research associate in the Division of Research, Planning, and Evaluation at The Center, where she is currently working with community collaborators on the state wide evaluation of Project SAFE (Suicide Awareness for Everyone). She has extensive experience in interdisciplinary mixed-method research approaches and non-profit program facilitation. Previously, she served as the Project Coordinator for the Fragile Families Study and The Public Housing Voucher Study at the Institute for Policy Research. She was also a research associate with The Center for Urban Research and Learning (CURL) and at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Research Institute. Ms Paranal received bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and English Literature from the University of South Carolina, and master’s degrees in Social Work and Women’s Studies from Loyola University Chicago.
