Beck Sullivan is a writer and producer who has extensive experience in the conceptualization and execution of multimedia used for education and training. She specializes in developing and organizing content to fit different media formats. Ms. Sullivan is known for a tenacious attention to detail on projects that address layers of complex human dynamics. She consistently works to see that these complexities unfold clearly in the chosen medium.

Ms. Sullivan began her media career in broadcast journalism in North Dakota. She produced radio and television news stories, series, and documentaries that won state and regional awards. She has continued to produce award-winning work as the production manager at The Center for Child and Family Studies, USC. Her work has won awards in various national and regional festivals. She has been recognized in particular for her success in bringing the voices of real people—children, victims, caseworkers, law officers—to training videos.

Ms. Sullivan earned an undergraduate Honors degree from The University of North Dakota. She worked for several years in broadcast journalism before returning to school to earn a Master’s of Media Arts from the University of South Carolina.
