2003 public relations graduate of the School of Journalism and
Mass Communications, Elaine Taylor is the assistant director
of development for the college.
As assistant director of development, Taylor coordinates alumni
and donor relations for the college and serves as the staff liaison
for the Alumni Society, which launched Fall 2005. Taylor recruits
alumni volunteers and works with the college's director of development
to conduct prospect identification, research, cultivation, stewardship
and follow-up. She also works with the staff of both schools
to manage scholarships, professorships, fellowships and other
funds. In addition, Taylor assists in the production of alumni
communications, as well as special event planning for alumni
and friends.
Prior to joining the college's development team, Taylor was
a marketing and sales associate for EdVenture Children's Museum
in Columbia.
When not at work, Taylor enjoys exercising, spending time with
her golden retriever and cheering on the Gamecocks! |
