Nancye Bailey
President
Carolina Event Consultants

Nancye Bailey has worked off and on doing events in South Carolina for more than 10 years, beginning with her volunteer placements in the Junior League of Columbia, Inc., where she managed silent auctions, chaired the League’s largest fundraiser, Holiday Market, and collaborated with local non-profits, such as the United Way of the Midlands and Central Carolina Community Foundation, to plan a week of community service projects for the Midlands. For her work with the League, she was awarded the Katharine Heath Perry Leadership Award in 2005.

Her break into event-management-for-pay came in August 2004 when Central Carolina Community Foundation approached her to take over the planning and management of their annual fundraiser, the International Festival of Wines and Food. Since that time, Bailey has created her own event management company, Carolina Event Consultants, and added more than a dozen organizations to her client list.

Among the clients she has worked with are the United Way of the Midlands, Grant Forest Products, Inc., South Carolina Mortgage Brokers Association, Carolina Wildlife Care, and Allied Media Corporation.

Bailey is active in her community and serves on the board of the Junior League of Columbia as well as The Animal Mission. She will graduate in May with a BA from the University of South Carolina with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. She is married with one daughter.
