Chris Winston serves as general manager of BigLickU.com and business editor of The Roanoke Times, both products of the Times-World Corp. and Landmark Communications.

Chris helped conceive and develop BigLickU.com, a social networking and information site developed for the more than 50,000 college students of Southwest Virginia. He oversees its business operations and content and oversees several college students who serve as freelance writers and interns.

In a less-exciting role, Chris also supervises the four business reporters at the 90,000+ daily newspaper of Roanoke.

A 1996 graduate in journalism and mass communications from the South Carolina Honors College at USC, Chris is married to the former Bridget Bradburn, a fellow journalist. They have two small boys and live in Christiansburg, Va.
