A blessed field goal foils Trinity

Junior running back Dexter Barnett blows by a Blessed Trinity defender, for a 25-yard reception of a fourth-quarter screen pass during the Sept. 3 game. Because neither team could score in regulation, the game went into overtime, giving each team one possession to score. Grady won the game 3-0 after a booming 29-yard field goal by sophomore Noah Shaye, who had missed an earlier field goal attempt. The Knights, currently undefeated, are hoping for a season to remember. See story page 20.
