The University of South Carolina's Division of Communications is home to News and Internal Communications, Printing Services, Strategic and Presidential Communications, Strategic Marketing, University Creative Services, University Magazine Group and Web Communications.
The division's responsibilities include public relations, news and information content for the university's main Web pages, production of a faculty/staff newspaper and alumni magazine and the creation of hundreds of print and digital publications for clients across the USC system. The division reaches prospective students and their parents, potential donors, alumni, faculty and staff and off-campus communities.
The division also serves as the university's liaison to several groups in the surrounding community. Developing institutional communications regarding policy, strategic planning and other high-level administrative decisions also is done within the division, as is the execution of marketing and communications strategies to enhance and build the brand image of USC.
