At the heart of the USC School of Music's new Center for Southern African-American Music is the CSAM Archive. Curated by the Head Music Librarian, Jennifer Ottervik, a specialist in African-American music, the CSAM archive comprises print, audio-visual, and primary source materials related specifically to African-American music of the south. The CSAM Archive is currently in the process of digitizing many of its holdings and making them accessible for scholarly research and study via this website. When completed, the website will also include an online catalog of all materials housed in the archive.
