Description
Students oftentimes believe that memorization is all that is necessary to succeed in college courses. Unfortunately, depending on how a course is taught and students are evaluated, this can sometimes be true. This workshop will discuss teaching and assessment methods that increase communication and understanding between professor and student resulting in deeper analysis, synthesis and problem-solving behaviors by student learners.
