Description

The maturing of online learning practices and engagements has opened new possibilities for curriculum design, including both face-to-face and online learning opportunities. But what’s the right mix of face-to-face and online? How do we choose from the various online techniques and methods? You and your colleagues are invited to participate in this virtual conference and explore the potential of blended learning instructional models, student learning outcomes, and successful implementation practices.

Hosted in the Center for Teaching Excellence, this event will be much more than your typical online seminar. You’ll exchange ideas and collaborate interactively with participants here and beyond. Conference components will include:

  • Keynote and Plenary Sessions: Sessions designed to provide a broad overview of the topic, probing contemporary theories and emerging approaches for blended learning.
  • Scenario Discussions: Contemporary campus scenarios will be discussed by participants face-to-face in the CTE.
  • Project Rounds: A series of sessions presented in a sequential fast-paced round format exploring a single project, emerging technology, or campus initiative.
  • Breaks: Opportunities to further probe session topics through guided discussion and collaborative activities within the CTE.
