Creative Puppetry as a Literacy Tool
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Thursday, August 23, 2012
General Information: Course will be delivered via multiple methods, including Blackboard, Adobe Presenter, Adobe Connect, and other Web applications.
NOTE:
Please register for this course no later than Aug.16, 2012. Meets with SLIS J797P. Undergraduate students need instructor's (Dr. Feehan, pfeehan@sc.edu) permission to enroll. Students registering for this course must have computer connectivity or access to a computer on a daily basis and must have familiarity with Blackboard and possess the ability to use Microsoft Word.
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
Students will be required to attend three mandatory Saturday sessions at USC Columbia on Sept. 1, Oct. 6, and Dec. 1, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET, in Davis College, Room 216.
Online Session Information:
There will be live online sessions via Adobe Connect on Wednesdays, Sept. 5, 12, and 19; Oct. 3, 10, 24, and 31; Nov. 14 and 28; and Dec. 5; 4 - 5:50 p.m. ET. Students may view the class live online or at a later time. Local students will also have the option to attend class in Wardlaw College, Room 116. Students viewing live via the internet may call in with questions during class. The Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. Students viewing at a later time may visit the Web site at http://video.sc.edu; click on the appropriate college/school and then your class link to view lectures. Instructor will provide password needed for access to the sessions. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
