Advanced Procedures in Special Education: Early Childhood Assessment

Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: This is an advanced course on early childhood special education methods for serving young children with and without developmental delays and their families. Course content will focus on the use and evaluation of various curriculum-based assessments to inform instruction and monitor student progress. In addition, we will discuss strategies for involving families and other professionals in the assessment process.
Prerequisites: EDEX 630 or permission of the instructor
