CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, October 21, 2013
On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
One or two online synchronous sessions may be required for activities such as case study discussion. Meeting times will be posted in advance in Blackboard. Students will be offered two alternative times for class sessions.
Course Delivery Type: Web: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: This course is an introduction to the design, implementation, and management of database systems that form the foundation for health information systems.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Master in Health Information Technology Program
