Teaching Reading and Writing in the Content Areas

CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, January 13, 2014

On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information: Students are required to meet on campus February 1 and March 29, 9:00am - noon, Wardlaw College Room 214.

Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

(One or more synchronous components will REQUIRE meeting face-to-face or Online).

Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: A survey of the strategies and materials which facilitate studentsí reading and writing skill in the content areas. For P-12 reading education and content area teachers.
