The Total School Health Program
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, January 13, 2014
General Information: This course will be delivered primarily via video streaming. Students will access streamed materials at video.sc.edu. Scroll down to Arnold School of Public Health and click on the class link. See instructor for password information. High speed Internet access is required for video streaming.
Course Delivery Type: Web: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
Credit: 3 semester hours of undergraduate/graduate credit

Bulletin Course Description: A course designed to acquaint the student with the various facets of the modern school health program. Includes school responsibilities for health and safety instruction, school health services, school environmental health problems, school and community relationships, resources for health, and evaluation of programs.
Prerequisites: HPEB 331 or 434, or consent of instructor
