Quantitative Methods for Health Administration
CLASS SESSION: Monday, January 13, 2014-Monday, April 28, 2014
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. All students must be present, either in person or online, for the class sessions on Mondays, 5 - 7:45 p.m. USC Columbia students will be required to attend classes in Wardlaw College, Room 116; all other students will view classes via the Internet and may call in with questions during class. Adobe Connect URL will be posted in Blackboard by the instructor prior to the first class meeting. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: An introduction to quantitative methods and analytical techniques with application to health administration. The course includes the use of models and simulation for decision making and control in health administration.
Prerequisites: BIOS 700
