Management of Health Information Systems

This is a shortened term which runs Oct. 21 - Dec. 6.
Online Session Information:
One or two online synchronous sessions may be required for activities such as case study discussion. Meeting times will be posted in advance in Blackboard. Students will be offered two alternative times for class sessions.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Overview of health information technology, electronic health records (EHR), and health information exchange (HIE), current practices, trends, and issues in health information systems management, and privacy and security of health information.
