Classification and Assessment of Mental Disorders
CLASS SESSION BEGINS: Monday, July 07, 2014
General Information: Course will be delivered by Web conferencing utilizing Adobe Connect. Students must be present online for the class sessions. The Adobe Connect URL will be posted by the instructor on Blackboard prior to the first session. High-speed Internet access is required for Adobe Connect.
Online Session Information:
Students will be required to participate in mandatory virtual/online sessions on Monday – Thursday, 5:00 to 7:29 p.m. To facilitate in-class communication when using Adobe Connect, all students will be required to have a working microphone.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Classification of mental disorders using the DSM-IV, standard reference of the American Psychiatric Association, and the interpretation of formalized evaluations and appraisal techniques in achieving differential diagnoses.
