Advanced Study in Adult Education

On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information:
Students will be required to attend three sessions at USC Columbia on Saturdays, Sept. 22, Oct. 27, and Dec. 1, 8 a.m. - noon, in Wardlaw College, Room 310.
Online Session Information:
Beginning Sept. 27, students are required to meet online on Adobe Connect, approximately every other Thursday, 6 - 8:30 p.m. See schedule in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Review of the major tenets and theories prominent in the adult learning literature and examination of historical, social, political, economic, and cultural factors influencing contemporary adult learning.
Prerequisites: graduate course in adult learning or development or consent of instructor
