Playing After Dark @ Columbia Marionette Theatre is a monthly Friday night indoor AND outdoor event featuring performance & visual art spaces (marionette and human theatre, music, comedy, film, photo, paint, sculpture, culinary, whatever!). Our mission is to provide a space for local artists and to offer Columbia a cheap and unique evening of FUN!!!!! ALL Ages Welcome! We strive to represent varied forms of artistic expression equally and give local artists a chance to engage their community. Check our Myspace page for blogs about this month’s Performances and Artists!Our opening night showcase on Friday, June 19th at 8pm will feature: "Junk Palace" by Lyon Hill (puppet show), "The Crane Wife" by Kimi Maeda (puppet show), Paintings by Alex Coco, Acoustic performance by John Scollon, Acoustic performer TBA, Performances by members of Alterna Cirque, and a Featured Game: Mini Golf.
